12/4/21 Madre Cuyendas, the shaman and the angel. Other.
Forest, afternoon
At Memorial Park in the afternoon of 12/4/21
I’m Kate, this is Dave, we come here often, we like being here, this is a beautiful and peaceful forest and we’re just saying hello.
Hiiiiiii!
Hi! Who are we talking to?
Uh … the defense?
The defense? That’s a very energetic term. What are you defending against?
A statement?
What kind?
For I can know what’s up.
Ok. Um, is there something you’d like to know that we could tell you?
And will be protected Mondays and Saturdays.
What will you be protected against?
Yeah! We are the other efforts.
I would love to know more about the other efforts.
It’s what the area is talking about. (loud bird and squirrel noises)
Yeah, we hear that bird (and squirrel) and it really has something to say. That’s cool. Tell me about the other efforts, I’d like to know more.
Yeah? Ok. (Bird resumes calling)
What kind of effort were you talking about?
Participating and other. (bird calls)
Ok, kind of a similar statement. What are you participating in? Something you’re doing?
Points toward love.
So you’re participating in love, your other effort is love? You’re trying to bring more love into your world?
Hmm, uh, let’s see. Um, it would be terrible to be a wimpy kid. Other.
Do you mean sometimes when I talk about a non-physical reality or intelligence, I say “The other”? Is that what you mean?
Please don’t make it cheap.
Oh. I’m sorry if I did, that was my intent (Dave: I don’t think that’s what was meant, there was something else but I missed it) Could you say that again in different words? I didn’t understand what you meant.
It’s an adverse event door-busting, thank you so much for listening.
Oh we’re happy to listen to you, we want to listen to you and know what you have to say. An adverse even and a door busting …
The fourth one is now.
Fourth one of what?
Honey, it’s brought to you by temperature. Yeah.
Are you talking about climate change?
One with everything, and it’s encouraging.
If I think back to what you said, it sounds like there’s an element of something stressful or unpleasant going on that maybe love or oneness helps with? Is that at all correct?
A lot of people are scripted, colors our anniversary, not bad guys.
Wow, um …
Tienes (“you have” in Spanish).
What do I have, or what does Dave have?
A trophy.
Really, what’s the trophy that we have? That sounds interesting.
500 dollars to spend on whatever you want!!!
That sounds awesome, I’ll take that, thanks! Where do I find that?
Thank you for inflection. It’s around 4pm.
Well it’s actually around 3 oclock here. So …
It’s a speech you can make.
Interesting. Are you talking about saying something to communicate with you? Through speech? I guess that’s what we’re doing. Could you tell–
To be in its infinity. Give it to me, baby.
I’m not sure that I can give you infinity.
Proud to be.
Can you tell me more about you?
Hey guys.
Hi!
The dealers, they don’t want a special talent.
What do they want?
It’s official, it’s simple to say yes.
To say yes to what?
The size down for the easy came out on 52. Required other. Cool.
Tell me more about what you mean when you say “other.” Youv’e said it a few times and I just want to make sure I know what you’re referring to.
(singing) It’s you and friends.
So we’re the other to you?
I want an interactive experience.
Hmm, us too. You want to do something interactive? Maybe you can do something we could see?
(Dave: what can we do to make these interactions easier and better?)
Dave asked a really good question (Kate repeats)
Strange and joy in the power of the household.
Are you saying we should do some of this at home, too? I guess we haven’t done that in a while.
Location’s without meaning.
That’s a very interesting point. Are you saying it doesn’t matter if we talk to you here or at home, where we have some of your soil?
YEAH!
Ok, well that was pretty clear, we could probably do that. Although we do like coming here, it’s pretty nice here.
Building a bridge, welcome to the family!
Aw, thank you, we’re pleased to be part of it. A car went by, it’s the first car we’ve seen all afternoon here.
Shards of light across the river, marked. (birds squawking)
That sounds really beautiful, tell me more about that…some very noisy birds over there.
Dave.
Yep, that’s Dave right there.
One more night (singing). Everyone’s home.
Are you saying you’d like us to go home to our house?
9:30, play ball!
You want us to do this again at 9:30 tonight in our home?
Call me! (singing)
Ok, we might be able to do that.
It’s not online.
No, it isn’t.
(singing) This land
This land’s very beautiful.
Dave: something about a trophy again.
Can you tell us more about trophy? Why have you said that?
They should know.
Well, we don’t know. I’m sorry if we should, but we don’t. Could you tell us more about what you mean by trophy.
Opportunity. Thing thing.
You’ve said that many times in past sessions.
I know what a trophy is and what an opportunity is, I’m just not sure why you’re mentioning this and in what context.
Cuatros? (Cuatro?)
That’s “four” … cinco seis site?
Represents, especially this year. Locations may vary.
That’s true. I’d still like to know more about you and who we’re talking to.
Dave: ok, I heard a line from “put another dime in the jukebox.”
Kate: a dime! Those were the days. So you know our names but we don’t know what we should call you.
Madre Cuyendas? [Note: “cuyenda” means legend in Spanish. It seems to be an uncommon word, and “cuyendas” doesn’t seem to translate as legends. Mother Legend, Mother OF Legend? When we looked up “Mother Legend” we found something directing us to a ghost story in Logan, UT. I remembered a previous session say “Ute Lake” when we asked where to find real magic. I looked up Logan, Ute Lake and it directed us to Logan, a village along the Ute Lake in New Mexico. Kuyenda is also a Zambian word that means travel/walk/navigate, etc. This is an interesting rabbit hole but doesn’t seem to lead anywhere. Regardless, Madre Cuyendas seems like a fair name to use to refer to this entity)
I don’t know that name. I’ll have to look that up later.
You mean that?
I can look it up.
Yeah, yeah, you got it.
What is your … hmm … not sure how to phrase this.
Yeah that’s just one part of me, yeah. I want location.
What kind of location do you want?
2000 dollars.
I’d take 2000 dollars. Why is location important to you?
Dave: I think “tienes” came through again.
Because we have a location? Are you in a physical location?
Maybe that’s what could be a great next door. It’s very positive.
So your location is next door to us.
Social says more.
Do you mean physically, like in a building near our home?
And other. Face one way.
Which way?
Right now, the 94th
Which direction should I face?
Something (Dave: literally the word “something”)
Start north.
Oh jeez, north. I think I’m facing west. I’m not really sure. I think this is north, I’m looking at moss on trees.
Veterans face challenges, response in waiting.
They do face challenges. If you mean military vets, this whole park was built as a memorial for war veterans. Is that what you’re referring to?
I am potential. Some, some persuasion.
If you’re potential, is there an actuality that you’d like to be?
We gonna say, sing it! Very, very good!
You’re gonna sing? Well, that’s good.
And shut the door! (Dave: I think the relevant part there is door) We use a pseudonym.
What’s your pseudonym? I’d love to know it.
There are a few peoples, and starting out with use by a shaman (high pitched voice), thanks.
Dave’s kind of like a shaman.
It’s not just a fantasy (cartoon voice. Dave: holy shit, that was really clear) And I’m thinking about (singing) Saturday afternoon.
It is Saturday afternoon.
Let’s wash that down … a heart key.
You’ve mentioned a door a couple of times.
And an angel.
So there’s a shaman and an angel
Well, it’s often indexed.
Who are the shaman and the angel, do we know them? Can we know them.
Being on the same team. It’s a wild world. [I think they’re calling us the shaman and the angel)
Can you tell me more about the door? You’ve said that a door has been blown open and you want it to be shut. Tell me more about the door.
Other than one, it’s pewter.
A pewter door? Wow.
It’s a strong response.
It would have to be a pretty heavy door.
Well yeah, I got paint. Two left.
You’re gonna paint the pewter door?
Is the door a physical thing?
Access to that kind of option is another … (Dave: given what’s already been said, I’m tempted to think “it’s AN other”) You la, you la, you’re from
So I think we’ll have to wrap it up in a few minutes. Anything else you want us to know or questions you have for us?
Rules of the road!
Yeah, we are gonna hit the road soon.
Wrap it up!
Ok, I guess that’s pretty clear. Well it was really lovely to talk to you. We always enjoy it. (ends session)
Dave Oh wow. For some reason I thought it had gotten dark…the one thing that kept coming up was “other.”
We did do a session at 9:30pm that evening but it didn’t record for some reason. Dave got the idea that we needed to spread the forest dirt in our yard outside. We had put it in vials. So we did that later.
