Meditations on Koi Fish and Madre Cuyendas

Dave

I set my intention to improve knowledge of myself and my works, to learn more and connect with Koi Fish, and if I have time, learn more about Madre Cuyendes.

I often start journeying meditations with flying, joined by a dragon or two.

I thought about trees that I could remember from various points in my life.

There were several, I was going for seven, but went over.

I sat inside a circle of these trees and more joined, until a whirling wall(s) of trees spun around me, infinite in number.

I explored various thoughts I knew I would forget consciously. These were personal aspects of myself that I considered and examined, and my thoughts on them are being processed on a deeper level. They weren’t all that relevant to the goal though.

Koi Fish, Joy Fish

To begin, I could imagine a small-ish person, bald, with flowing, light clothing with many shifting colors.

I found myself imagining a tiny bubble of water, almost microscopic, not visible to the naked eye, floating through the air.

For the briefest of moments, a being off-handedly glanced in the direction that the micro-bubble was floating through. [DG says this being is not a god, because a god would be confined to the microbubble. This being is beyond our ability to comprehend.]

Our entire existence is inside the bubble- our universe(s), our infinity, our eternity, and all possibilities.

When the being glanced in our direction, a reflection formed on the outside of the bubble, and it fractured into tinier and tinier pieces as it passed through.

One tiny piece of one of the tiny pieces noticed us, and was curious, and its curiosity brings it joy. This small piece is individuated.

When we feel joy and curiosity, we resonate on its frequency and it enjoys that. It wants to encourage that in order to keep feeling the resonance.

Madre Cuyendes

The mother of legends is also ambassador of The Earth?

Created when the literal earth was, and is a spirit that assists with the connection of living things to the “grounded source” of Earth.

With plants and animals, fungus and insects… it all comes easily and only the tiniest handful ever aren’t connected.

Thinking creatures have to consent and agree to the connection, and it’s even stronger if they do so consciously. [ETA: it’s not that thinking creatures–more than just humans–have to sign a contract or anything. It sounds more like they just have to not reject it. Kind of like you can turn on the TV and watch a particular show, or turn it off if you don’t like it. Uncertain why most thinking beings reject it.]

Of them, the barest few do so, most unconsciously. The few of the few who do so consciously really help to connect MC to our “thinking world” and helps her to connect us with the grounding source. We can call on that connection for help with grounding, health, and solidity. [DG says the details on this are fuzzy. Like, how exactly do we help? But it sounds like it’s like we function as sensory points, like being receivers for the earth that communicate back to it. Not entirely sure what we’re communicating though, or why it’s needed]

One of the visuals I got was a large, pretty black woman in a gold gown (that reminded me of sunflowers) sprawled on a long rock as if it were a divan. She had a feel of nurturing, and a wry sense of humor. Motherly, wise and strong. Like the Empress, the High Priestess and Strength all in one.

[More info after discussion: MC focuses on furthering life on earth, of all kinds. I asked if it’s bad then to eat meat, but DG says no, that’s part of the natural cycle of things. But polluting the earth so that other lifeforms as a whole can’t live, that would be bad. She’s also not focused on individuals so much – I had wondered then if it was bad that we weren’t having kids, but he said no.

Dave said she’s like a genus loci, spirit of the place. We don’t know how far her boundaries are, though. It sounds like when we took the soil from the forest to our yard, we created an extra channel for her and she likes this. It’s like it gives her a second home base that she didn’t have before. ]

Koi fish meditation

I mostly got a lot of liminal dream imagery that seemed kind of random. I attempted to go to the Seven Sacred Trees that Dave mentioned. It was a clear, starry night. As I approached the trees, I stated my intention to speak to Koi Fish. To my surprise, Koi Fish immediately swam through the air, emerging from behind the trees to greet me.

The random imagery started then. I clearly recall a young Asian (Thai?) woman in pale pink shorts and a tank top, being slammed to the ground repeatedly by a dark, slow-moving monster of some kind. I made myself grow huge so that I could stop it from hurting her.

The one very clear piece I heard was: “My mistress is a …” but I didn’t get much more than that. This happened once I invited Koi into my aura and listened in the “astral radio” way that I do.

I was also reminded that Koi was in a dream of mine from 15 years ago (Jan 2007). And I saw the Caterpillar Woman, sort of … like from a different perspective but she didn’t have the caterpillar. This made me feel like Koi wasn’t from the land here, but that Koi knew me already.

Madre Cuyendas

The next day I meditated on Madre Cuyendas. I don’t remember much because I fell asleep, being super tired from a night of poor sleep.

I saw “The Earth” as we would connect to it. It was not at all like some new agey “Mother Gaia” persona. Instead it was vast, ever-changing, and so multi-faceted that it kind of felt like, “What even IS Earth?” I saw why we needed someone like Madre Cuyendas to help us connect. It simply had no human element to it that I could communicate with directly. It was a force, not a personality.

I know MC showed me a lot of different scenarios in which the connection with her would be mutually beneficial. Some of them were things I could experience. Some were things I would likely never take part it. The only thing I recall was a huge flood in Northern California, but I didn’t have a sense that this was something fated to happen.

My impressions of her were positive.
